The SCCP-LENS is committed to honoring the lives and contributions of past slaves by preserving and documenting the historical Slave Cemetery at Clearview Plantation through official designation; SCCP-LENS supports research in a historical field, pertaining to slavery, racism, and the environment from slavery to freedom; SCCP-LENS supports and promotes access and opportunities for African Americans in education and resource development.
